On Wednesday morning, the Year 3 students kicked off their big performance with Hanuel, Shanaya, and Chejun's stunning piano pieces.

The Year 8 Camp to Dibba took place on Sunday, 5th and Monday, 6th February.

There was a fantastic turnout for the Year 2 Maths Parent Workshop this Thursday. We shared the key skills that have been covered so far this year as well as sharing what the children will be learning in Term 2.

12 BIS Abu Dhabi students from Year 4, 5 and 6 excitedly participated in the annual Chevron Readers' Cup competition, a reading competition for schools, held annually by Emirates Literature Foundation.

After their fascinating trip to the hydroponic farm, Year 4 were keen to share their knowledge and demonstrate their learning of this growing process.

Over the coming months, the Secondary team are looking forward to getting to know the current Year 6 students as they navigate their way from Primary School to Year 7.

On Friday 27th and Saturday 28th January, 27 Year 10 Duke of Edinburgh's Bronze Award students completed their Practice Adventurous Journey in Al Khatim Desert. With mixed weather reports prior to the departure, the weather was extremely kind to the BIS Abu Dhabi group who completed their journey in perfect journeying conditions.

BIS Abu Dhabi is excited to relaunch our Chess Team Tryouts! All students are welcome to compete next Thursday in our tryout tournament.

On Monday, 6th February, BIS Abu Dhabi will be hosting the Univer On Campus College Fair.  Students from Year 11, 12 and 13 along with their parents are cordially invited to join the event to learn about the courses offered by 22 attending local universities.

Last week, students studying Visual Arts subjects at GCSE and IB level, got the opportunity to look at the world around them through different creative lenses.

Over the past number of weeks, 22 of our IB students have been preparing for their up upcoming trip to Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa.

Year 5 found themselves working together to survive today! The texts they have been reading in English, Michael Morpurgo’s ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom’ and ‘David Long’s ‘Survivors’, equipped them with the inspiration and determination to overcome many obstacles.
