On Friday, we held a prize presentation to celebrate the students who took part in last week's triathlon.

Congratulations to (left to right) Sami, Ryosuke and Khyra in Year 8 who received a Headteacher’s Commendation Award recently thanks to their outstanding presentation on ‘writing in the 21st century’.

On Monday, we hosted the final junior swimming event for Term 1.

Thank you to parents who were able to join us for our first Wellbeing Workshop focused on the BISAD Diploma last Wednesday evening.

Well done to Year 10 students Noora and Alya who represented BIS Abu Dhabi in a poetry event on Monday, where they told a poem by a well-known Arabic poet.

The Triathlon returned post-COVID bigger and better than any year previous!

Under the lights of the famous Al Nahyan Stadium, BISAD students spent the evening providing the pre-match and half-time entertainment for thousands at the Al Wahda Vs Al Nasr, UAE Pro-League fixture last month.  

It was a very cosmic start to the week on Monday as alien visitors from distant exoplanets arrived and launched a very exciting MIT challenge.

On Saturday, Duke of Edinburgh students took part in their first training day.

Students in Year 10 received an information assembly about the Duke of Edinburgh Award for this academic year.

This Wednesday, FS2 parents joined us for a Read Write Inc (RWI) Phonics Workshop.

Yesterday marked the 10th UAE Flag Day. It is a time when we all stop and act as one. A time that unites the country both in celebration and reflection.

Monday, 25th October was not your usual Monday morning if you were one of 126 Year 7 students at BIS Abu Dhabi. This Monday required you to arrive at school with a sleeping bag, a tent and a bag full of treats for your two-day adventure! It was the day the students had all been waiting for...Year 7 camp!

During the month of October, BIS Abu Dhabi have been celebrating Black History Month in line with the UK’s timings of the celebration.

On Thursday, 27th October the whole school came together for an incredible BIS Abu Dhabi House Day!
