Educational Background

• BA, Educational Mathematics

I joined BIS Hanoi in August 2026 with more than 20 years of experience in education. I began my teaching career in South Korea, where I taught for more than nine years, before moving into international education and spending a further nine years at The British College of Brazil in São Paulo. There, I taught Mathematics across Secondary, IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme, and served as Head of Mathematics.

At BIS Hanoi, I hope to encourage students to see mathematics as more than finding the right answer. I want them to think, question and justify and one phrase they will probably hear from me often is ‘Convince me’.

In my free time, I enjoy playing musical instruments, listening to all kinds of music, discovering good food and spending time with my family even better when they all come together!
