As November has shown, Collège Champittet is so much more than a school! From education to culture and religion, our activities serve to enrich lives and bring people together, including students, alumni and our wider community.

At the School's traditional Christmas Market, you can buy honey produced by our bees from the educational hive located on campus!

The Swiss education system has a longstanding reputation for quality. However, what may be less familiar to many are the changes that this system has undergone over the decades.

At Collège Champittet, one of our recent initiatives, the Literary Passport, is nurturing a community of enthusiastic readers in French, English and German.

The Swiss Parliament has adopted the principle of education without violence. Physical punishment and degrading treatment are punishable by law. Too many children still suffer physical and psychological abuse.

On September 15th, we welcomed the parents of our students in preschool and Grades 1 and 2 for the official inauguration of The Village.

In September, Champittet students led two outstanding community events at our school – a local lake clean-up day, and a charitable chess tournament to support the Champittet Foundation’s humanitarian projects.

At Collège Champittet, we know that reading is important, which is why we’ve taken steps to instil a love of reading in our students.

Collège Champittet is the Swiss school open to the world – and part of that openness means taking our students beyond the classroom to experience new cultural treasures, new places and new ways of thinking

The start of a new school year is an exciting time for most students. New friends. New routines. New opportunities. But for some children, those first weeks make them feel unsettled and anxious, making an impact on their self-confidence.

This summer, campers aged 11 to 17 came to Collège Champittet from around the world for our annual Summer Leadership Camp. 

On Friday, August 22nd, our community celebrated our multicultural identity with our first International Day, organised by APEC, our Parent Association.
