Year 8 students at St Andrews International School Bangkok explored Sustainable Architecture through a project‑based learning experience that combined design, science, and social impact. Working with the needs of families in the Khlong Toei community, students developed architectural proposals that reflected both technical skills and empathy. Their work was enriched by feedback from visiting professionals, who praised the students’ CAD drawings, physical models, and ability to communicate ideas formally. The project highlighted the value of service learning, showing how authentic challenges and expert engagement can inspire creativity, deepen understanding, and prepare students with the skills and confidence needed to tackle real‑world problems.
