Building bonds through end-of-year adventures

From preschool to Grade 8, our Champittet primary students celebrated the end of the school year with an entire day for exploration, learning and friendship. Each group enjoyed a special outing, giving our learners the opportunity to strengthen bonds, celebrate their achievements and create lasting memories before the holidays.
Unforgettable day trips for every age group
On the lake or high up in the trees, our primary students stepped outside the classroom to enjoy unique experiences with their classmates. At the Grattavache goat farm, our preschoolers discovered the thrill of farm life, from goat milking to tasting fresh milk. Our students in Grade 1 built confidence and teamwork during a treetop adventure course in Payerne. Meanwhile, our Grade 2 students learned the basics of sailing at the Pully Yacht Club.
Not to be outdone, our learners in Grades 3, 5 and 8 also tested their courage and problem-solving skills through outdoor challenges at the Signal de Bougy adventure park. Our Grade 4 students immersed themselves in the Wild West atmosphere of Western City in Martigny, while those in Grade 7 enjoyed a fascinating behind-the-scenes visit to Logitech, discovering innovation, sustainability and a wide range of careers through workshops and laboratory tours.

Finally, students in Grade 6 enjoyed several days of end-of-year adventures together in southeast France. Kayaking and cave exploration were among the exciting activities on the agenda at their camp in Ardèche.
A well-deserved celebration to end the year
These end-of-year outings encouraged our students to step outside their comfort zones, discover new interests and strengthen friendships across shared experiences. For students in Grades 6 to 8, they also marked the welcome conclusion of exam season and the beginning of a well-earned summer break.
As the 2025-2026 school year draws to a close, we hope these memorable experiences inspire our students to approach the summer with the same spirit of curiosity, confidence and adventure that made this special day such a success.
